A popular variety of cacti with a barrel shaped, light green body bearing yellow spines. They are slow growing and will thrive in pots if given plenty of light and airflow. Water sparingly and allow to dry out completely in between, or can be grown in ground in a well drained position and shouldn't require any water once established. A slow release fertiliser can be used during spring or summer.
