Key Characteristics:
Growth Habit: Typically reaches a height of around 15 cm (6 inches) over 2-3 years. It grows in a dense, clustered fashion, resembling miniature turrets and spires.  
Variegation: The most distinctive feature is its variegated foliage, showcasing patches of green, white, and sometimes even pink or yellow. This variegation adds a touch of color and visual interest.  
Spines: Adorned with small, white spines along its five sides, providing a textured appearance.  
Flowers: While rare, under optimal conditions, it may produce large, white, nocturnal flowers.
