An interesting succulent from South Africa that forms clumps of 1cm thick blue- green stems with coppery spines. Yellow flowers along the stems in late spring. Protect from frost. Prefers full sun, watering once soil has become completely dry. 
CAUTION: harmful if eaten. May be a skin and eye irritant.
