Mammillaria - Nejapensis
The Mammillaria nejapensis, also known as the Pincushion Cactus Nejapensis, is a charming and unique cactus species native to Mexico . It's named for its distinctive globular shape and its resemblance to a pincushion.
This cactus is a slow grower but can form large clusters over time. It's one of the reasons why it's a favorite among succulent collectors.
Provide plenty of sunlight, at least 4-6 hours a day. Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. You can also add perlite or sand to improve drainage. Water thoroughly during the growing season (spring and summer) when the soil is dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering, which can cause root rot. Reduce watering significantly during winter. Prefers warm temperatures but can tolerate occasional cold snaps.
