Pleiospilos are a small, slow growing succulent that belong to the Aizoaceae family. Native to southern Africa their shape and texture makes them resemble a pile of pebbles to camouflage them from grazing animals. They have hemispherical grey leaves and their daisy-like flowers appear in the centre. Best grown in a pot with bright indirect light and good airflow, they require free draining soil. Water sparingly and allow to dry out between watering, keeping very dry during humid weather.
